The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania celebration will be centered around Point State Park, with a huge 25 minute long fireworks display beginning at 9:35 pm. Preceding the fireworks, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, will be orchestral patriotic music, a family activities area and food vendors. The fireworks can also be seen on WPXI TV. Also, from 1:00 pm through 5:00 pm, visit Fort Pitt Museum at The Point to learn more about Fort Pitt and western Pennsylvania’s role in the American Revolution. Costumed interpreters will reenact 18th century life.
I’ve posted a new web page listing other fireworks and special events around Western Pennsylvania, beginning as soon as tonight in Bethel Park. You will find a list of additional fireworks displays on the new FIREWORKS WEB PAGE at bobscaping dot com, forward slash fireworks.
